  • The rules, regulations, guidelines, and clarifications framed thereunder, including the (Indian) Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Information) Rules, 2011 (the "SPI Rules"), and the (Indian) Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011 (the "IG Rules").

I. Agreement to Privacy Policy:

By using the EasyHealths mobile application or by otherwise providing Us with your Personal Information, you will be deemed to have:

  • Read, understood, and agreed to the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy.
  • Agreed to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY

EasyHealths may update this Privacy Policy at any time, with or without prior notice. In the event of significant changes to how We handle your Personal Information or updates to the Privacy Policy itself, We will either display a notice within the App or send you an email, allowing you to review the updated terms before continuing to use Our services.

If you object to any of the changes to Our terms and no longer wish to use the Services, you may contact support@easyhealths.com to request deactivation of your account. Unless stated otherwise, EasyHealths current Privacy Policy applies to all information We have about you and your account.

3. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED FROM YOU?

When you sign up or register on our Platform to use our Services, and during the course of actual usage of our Services, the types of information that will be collected by us include:

  • Contact information: Name, Address, Contact details, Email ID, Phone Number.
  • Demographic information: Gender, Age, Blood Group, Date of Birth.
  • Your location details (basis the permission received from you).
  • Data regarding your usage of the services such as search history and history of the Doctor, Test or Services Booking made by you through the use of Services.
  • Financial information such as bank account, credit card, debit card or other payment instrument details, billing information.
  • Browsing history including the URL of the site visited prior to visiting the Website as well as the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer (or the proxy server you used to access the World Wide Web), along with your computer operating system, type of web browser you are using and the name of your ISP.
  • Any other detail relating to the above as voluntarily provided to EasyHealths by you, for providing value added service.
  • Medical records and history which you voluntarily provide or is generated on usage of the App/Website through our Network Service Providers; “Network Service Providers” means any doctor, hospital.

4. WHAT PERMISSIONS DO WE REQUIRE AND WHY?

To provide you with seamless service, the EasyHealths app requires access to certain device permissions. Below are the permissions we collect and the reasons for them:

I. Location Permissions
  • ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION & ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION
    • Purpose: To provide location-based services such as finding nearby healthcare providers.
    • Usage: These permissions allow the app to determine your approximate and precise location to enhance your experience by showing relevant local services. For example, enabling you to find doctors, labs, hospitals, diagnostics centers, and other healthcare services either nearby or based on the location you choose. Additionally, when you opt for home services, these permissions help us reach you efficiently.
II. Camera Permission
  • CAMERA
    • Purpose: To allow users to capture photos or scan documents within the app.
    • Usage: Enables features like uploading profile pictures, capturing images of prescriptions, or scanning QR codes for quick access to services. This enhances user interaction by facilitating the easy submission and sharing of necessary documents for accessing or booking healthcare services.
III. Microphone Permission
  • RECORD_AUDIO
    • Purpose: To enable voice commands for searching within the app and sending voice notes to service providers.
    • Usage: Allows users to interact with the app using voice commands, enhancing both voice searching and accessibility. Users can perform searches in the app’s search bar using their voice or dictate and send voice notes to service providers, making the app more user-friendly, especially for those who prefer voice interactions over manual inputs.
IV. SMS Permission
  • READ_SMS & RECEIVE_SMS
    • Purpose: We use this permission for OTP-based login to enhance user convenience.
    • Usage: It allows us to auto-fill One-Time Passwords (OTPs), so you don’t have to manually enter them every time you log in. You have the option to either enable this feature for automatic OTP retrieval or type in the OTP manually if you prefer.
V. Notifications Permission
  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS
    • Purpose: If enabled, this permission allows us to send you reminders for appointments, updates regarding your services, or other notifications relevant to your healthcare needs.
    • Usage: Keeps you informed about upcoming appointments, changes in your scheduled services, promotional offers, and other important information that can assist you in managing your healthcare effectively.
VI. Storage Permissions
  • READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
    • Purpose: To save and retrieve files such as images, documents, and other media.
    • Usage: Facilitates the upload and download of content within the app, ensuring a seamless user experience. This includes uploading documents like prescriptions or medical reports to share with service providers and downloading invoices, lab reports, or other relevant documents for your convenience.

5. HOW WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION?

I. Registration Information:

When you register on the EasyHealths app, we collect your name, phone number, age and gender as part of the account creation process. This information is essential for creating your profile and enabling access to the App's services.

II. Device Information:

As soon as you open the App, We collect your device ID. This information is used to send push notifications to your specific device and to prevent fraudulent activities. It ensures that notifications and updates are accurately delivered to your device.

III. Profile Information:

In the "Complete your Profile" section, We collect your address, age, blood group and gender. These details are required to enhance your experience within the App, particularly for booking doctors, lab tests, and home services.

IV. Location Information:

We collect your location data (GPS) to assist you in finding healthcare services such as doctors, labs, and hospitals near your location, or in the area of your choice. It is also necessary for home healthcare services.

V. Payment Information:

When you book services such as doctor appointments or lab tests, We collect your payment information through our payment gateway. This may include bank account details, credit or debit card information, or other payment instrument details. The data is securely handled to facilitate your transactions.

VI. Medical Records:

We collect medical records, including prescriptions and reports, which you upload to the App for sharing with healthcare providers or for storage within the App.

VII. SMS Information:

We collect SMS data for OTP-based authentication during the login process, allowing you to securely access your account. This helps verify your identity efficiently.

VIII. Internet Information:

We collect information about your internet connection status to determine whether your network connection is active. This helps us ensure that the App functions properly by notifying you in case of connectivity issues and optimizing service delivery based on your network status.

6. HOW THE INFORMATION COLLECTED IS USED?

We collect your Information for various purposes, including but not limited to the following:

I. To Enable you to Use the App and Utilize the Services:

We use your personal information (such as your name, contact details, and medical history) to provide you access to various services available on the EasyHealths app, such as booking doctor appointments, lab tests, ambulance services, and home healthcare services.

II. To Facilitate Service Bookings and Payments:

We collect your financial information (e.g., bank details, credit card, or debit card details) to process payments for healthcare services, including doctor appointments, lab tests, and home care services. This information ensures smooth and secure transactions through our payment gateway.

III. To Respond to your Inquiries:

We may use your contact information to respond to any questions or concerns you have regarding your use of the App or the services provided through it.

IV. To Personalize your Experience on the App:

The information you provide, such as your health conditions, medical history, and preferences, helps us tailor the services to your needs, providing a more customized and relevant healthcare experience.

V. For Administering and Managing the App:

We use the collected data to properly manage and administer the App, including scheduling appointments, sending notifications, and updating you about changes in services.

VI. To Provide Location-Based Services:

By using the EasyHealths app, you consent to and authorize Us to publish any feedback provided by you on our App, subject to applicable privacy regulations.

II. Financial Information Security:

While we take extensive care to secure your financial information, we advise you to exercise caution when saving your payment details for future use.

III. Third-Party Service Providers:

If you wish to delete all of your Personal Information, you can do so by visiting https://easyhealths.com/delete-user. Upon submitting your request, We will ensure that within 72 business hours all your data is removed from Our systems.

Please note that you are not permitted to use the App or its Services if any part of this Privacy Policy is in violation of the applicable laws of your country.

EasyHealths is unable to restrict, control, or monitor access by the Primary User or other Secondary Users to your Personal Information.
